2 (Simple) ways to Remove Powered by Blogger Attribution (with Pictures)

Most bloggers don't like having that "Powered by Blogger" attribution on their Blogspot blog.

So in this blog post, I will be explaining "How to remove Powered by Blogger in blogger blog".

Google Blogger provides their blogger attribution to all blogger blogs by default just to indicate visitors that this blog is hosted in their property, but users can easily hide/remove that. 

Just follow the upcoming steps to remove powered by blogger attribution easily.

How to Remove Powered by Blogger

There are 3 tried and working methods to remove "Powered by Blogger" which are,

• Remove Blogger Attribution Gadget from Layout
• Remove Blogger Attribution HTML Code from Theme

Let's see about steps of each method in detail.

Remove Blogger Attribution Gadget from Layout

1. Log into your Google Blogger Account.



2. Select "Layout" from the left navigation panel.



3. On your blogger select, find the "Attribution" gadget and click the Edit icon.

4. On the "Configure Attribution" tab, select the "Remove" button to remove the "Powered by Blogger" attribution.

Visit your blog homepage and you find that the "Powered by Blogger" has been removed.

Thus this how to remove Blogger Attribution.

Note - If your Blogger attribution gadget is locked (if you're unable to edit it) then follow the second method.

Let's move to the second method.

Remove Blogger Attribution HTML Code from Theme

1. Log into your Google Blogger account.



2. Select "Theme" from the left navigation panel.



3. On the following main page, click on the drop-down menu near the Customize button and select the "Edit HTML" option.

4. HTML Editor opens on the main page, click on the "Jump to Widget" icon, and select "Attribution1" gadget.

5. Select the attribution whole code, from "<b:widget" to "</b:widget>", and delete that code.

6. Now the blogger attribution has been removed, you can preview the changes before saving it.

7. Click "Save" to save the changes.
