3 (Easy) steps to find Blogger blog ID and Post ID (Pictures & Video Guide)

So far Two years into Blogger Blogging and until now I didn't care to know What is Blogger Id and blog post id, but now I learned the purpose and uses of blogger id.

Now I will share it with you guys and will also explain How to find your Blog ID in this article.

Most of us (Indian Bloggers) started our blogging career by creating a free Blogspot blog on Google Blogger, publishing blog posts from it, and trying to build a brand using it, but most of us still don't know our blogs' Unique Identification number.

What is Blogger ID

Blogger Blog ID is the Unique Identification number provided by Google Blogger when users create a blog using their blogger account. Each and every blog that users create using their account has its own ID.

Blog IDs can't be changed or renamed. If a blog gets deleted its blog id also gets deleted and the id can't be reassigned.

How to Find Blogger Blog ID

1. Login to your Google Blogger account.









2. Select the blog for which you want to find the Unique ID in your account.









3. In the address bar of your blogger account Homepage, you can find the ID of your blog. Blog ID only consists of numbers (usually 19 digits) and displayed after the blogger URL address, as shown in the below image.

This is the method to find your blogger id.

You can also find your ID of Blogger when you place the cursor on the Blogger dashboard menu, the link preview will be displayed on the bottom left corner.

What is Blog Post ID

Blog post ID is similar to Blog ID where each blog post has its own Unique Identification number. The blog post gets its ID when a user starts to write a new post in draft mode.

How to Find Blog Post ID

Blog post ID can be found at the Address bar (URL bar) when the user starts to write the blog post in the draft mode. It can also be found at the bottom left corner when the cursor is placed on the blog post from the list shown in the "Posts" menu of Blogger Dashboard.

• Blog ID and Blog Post ID are helpful for Google Blogger to maintain its users' accounts and their data.

• Blogger Blog ID is helpful when setting up any third party services.
