One method is just enough but you have to choose the correct method by the condition of your account.

Delete Adsense account through Adsense
This method is for accounts that have the "Delete Adsense Account" option in the Adsense website itself.
- Step 1 - Sign in to your Google Adsense account.
- Step 2 - In the left Navigation panel, choose "Account", as shown in the below image.
- Step 3 - Select "Account Information" in the following "Setting" drop-down menu.
- Step 4 - After that select "Cancel Account" from the right section in Adsense, as shown in the below image.
- Step 5 - Read the conditions and choose options from the following the Cancel Account page.
- Step 6 - After choosing the Delete account option, you will receive the AdSense account cancellation request e-mail from Google Adsense.
- Step 7 - Once you confirmed to delete your Adsense account from following the link in that Adsense mail, your Adsense account will be deleted within a day or two.

Delete Adsense account through Google Account
This method is for accounts that don't have the option to delete through Adsense itself. This method is very effective but it involves numerous steps. So read the following steps carefully in order to avoid any mistakes.
- Step 1 - Login to your Google account and go to "My Google Account".
- Step 2 - From the left navigation menu, choose "Payments & Subscriptions"
- Step 3 - Select "Manage Payment Methods" from the "Payment methods" under the payments & subscriptions page on the right side, as shown in the below image.
- Step 4 - From the following page select the "Settings" option from the top menu. Scroll down to the last and select "Close payments profile" to delete your Adsense account permanently, as shown in the below image.
- Step 5 - Read and choose options carefully from the following page, Once you choose to delete your payment profile, you will receive an e-mail regarding closing your payment profile.
- Step 6 - If you confirmed that you want to close then your payment profile will be closed soon.
